Even with a trail you'd need navigation skills.

The side i climbed from had no trail, but there seemed to be one coming from the other side. Bring a map anyway, always bring a map.

There is an easy trail up, just follow the crosses which have been put up. However learn to use an OS map and bring it with you.
The weather is very changeable up there, I once went up it in a Gale force storm, it was crazy trying to get off the mountain(The wind knocked me to the ground numerous times).

What if a dense fog lowered itself onto the mountain? Bring a map and use it.
