Hi all According to the skype site, these are their rates for calling Irish numbers: Ireland 2 cents Ireland - Dublin 2 cents Ireland - Mobile 18.4 cents I'm going travelling this year so I want to find out if these charges remain the same regardless of where you are calling from? Couldn't find a clear answer on the skype…

Hi all

According to the skype site, these are their rates for calling Irish numbers:

Ireland 2 cents
Ireland - Dublin 2 cents
Ireland - Mobile 18.4 cents

I'm going travelling this year so I want to find out if these charges remain the same regardless of where you are calling from? Couldn't find a clear answer on the skype site - can anyone tell me?

Also - does a connection charge apply on top of the minute rate every time you make a skype call (except skype to skype)?

Yes there charges are the same worldwide as you are still using the internet right up until the endpoint in the country you are ringing. I don't know if there are any connection fees, but I suspect not and again it wouldn't be something that would apply when abroad so it should be quite visible on their site.
