laptop wont open aib online banking anymore

    Hi,

    I used aib online banking on my laptop all the time, but then i cleared the cache...and now aib banking wont open for me? it just gets stuck trying to load the page and I see the message "Transferring data from aibinternetbanking.aib.ie..."

    and I'm left stuck at a blank white screen and this message, but it wont open the site? anyone got any ideas how to fix this?

    I'm thinking you may be using an old shortcut. Try navigating to the page from the main www.aib.ie website?

    I am navigating there through the aib website so its not that, i have tried using firefox and chrome and neither work. i am wondering would my anti virus cause it? i have avg antivirus and it was working before, just not now

    just updated java and it still doesnt work...this is most annoying. anybody got any other ideas as to what this might be?

    Can't be of much help. I just logged into my AIB a/c successfully with Firefox so its not a general problem at AIB's end.

    Try using a different browser to see if its a problem with the particular browsers security settings.
