Quick question on iPad release

    Hi there, I'm a bit out of the loop on gettin' an iPad here and live in the back arse of nowhere so I'd rather wait for the iPad to go on sale directly from the Apple site, does anyone have any idea when it might happen? (Still shows the "Notify Me" button atm.)

    I telephoned Apple directly this morning to ask that question and was told they don't know when they will be available online or direct from them over the phone. I was told that I would have to go to a reseller if I wanted one anytime soon.

    Alternatively you can order from Arnotts though not sure how much stock they had (if any).
