    If you want to get websites to recognise your Android browser as a desktop browser type about:debug into the address bar in the browser, then go to the browser settings. You'll see an extra section has been added at the bottom. Click UAString and set it to Desktop.

    Found it useful for the BBC radio website: If you click "listen again" on a programme it will direct you to the iPlayer which of course doesn't work outside the UK but if the UAString is set to desktop it will go to the regular flash player (Assuming your running 2.2) and will start playing

    In Dolphin browser you can set your user agent via settings also.
