    Hi,

i am in the process of building a shed for general use, workshop storage turf etc. It is block built lean to style and is ready for the roof 45ft x 23ft. I dont know what sheeting to put on, can anyone advise, type advantages, need for felt cost etc, thanks,

Pvc coated corrugated sheets just over a metre wide, do you need it to be non-drip?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    Hey Blue,

Have you used the pvc ones before?? I put them on a shed years ago and found that they really attracted scum growth to the point where the scum growth cracked the pvc coating in places and the metal underneath rusted. I am just wondering if there have been any improvements in this technology in recent years??

I did a free standing lean to 8 yrs ago, dark green on top and white underneath, no problems yet. It has a fairly steep pitch, think its 12 degree. Maybe if you have shallow pitch it stays damp and moss etc grows on it?
I have drips from galv Z purlins though. Timber would be dryer but I left a gap between the sheets as its a straw bedded shed.

    Thanks.

Mine was 12 years ago and there was a very shallow pitch on the roof allright. That could have been the problem.
