Hello ,I just spotted a machine that I didn't know existed and it's exactly what I was looking for.

    Link

The thing is ,I'm not sure if it's any good. I have problem with flossing because the gaps between my teeth are too small.

Wow. Never heard that before with flossing. If your contacts are too tight, Waterpik is unlikely to help. Persist with the floss, you'll get it through the contact and eventually the contacts will start to loosen up a bit.

It's a pain in the face ,when I do get floss between my teeth ,I tear through my gum because of the pressure.

I use tepes for the gum area between my teeth ,I have to use the orange ones on most of my teeth.

people who regularly use a waterpik (or any oral irrigator) generally have nice clean mouths. I'm in favour, and would encourage you to get one if you think you would use it.
Lots of people have dfficulty flossing properly.

I am a fan of the waterpik. Espically if you have bridgework. Probpem is its not portable and is a bit messy to use. Floss is better if you have natural teeth. Give it a try and see does it suit you.
Oh yeah but it on ebay much less expensive.

Thanks for the replies ,I'm going to get it so. It's £50 on amazon ,I think thats realitively cheap for what it does.

The only problem people seem to have with this machine is that it needs to be powered from a standard outlet and not a shaver one. I can easily use it over a basin in a corner of a room somewhere ,so it's not all bad.

    Cheers.

    There are cordless versions available.

Heres a review on amazon from someone who had a cordless ,

"After having thrown away the rechargeable small waterpik as the battery won't hold it's charge, i bought this one! So far I have been impressed with it. It holds enough water to get round all of my teeth in one go. I find though that I have to have the power on full to feel that I am getting the benefit. I don't like the tongue scraper accessory as the manual tongue scraper I have does a better job and I don't use the other accessories either. Also it is worth knowing that the two pin plug on the unit won't run from your electric socket in the bathroom as that doesn't give out enough power, I have to plug it into an extension lead from my bedroom, making sure to cover the plug with a towel so the splashes don't drop on it and cause a problem! All in all it is a good buy and well worth the money if you want clean teeth and gums and fresh breath!
    "

It sounds like the rechargable one needs to be filled up a lot ?

Maybe twice per cleaning session, but this is quick if you're using it at a bathroom sink.

Thanks for the info on the cordless ,I don't have access to computers during the day:(

My amazon order can't be cancelled now ,I'll do my best to make good use of it though.

    Cheers.

Hello again ,got this machine today. Was wondering has anyone used mouthwash with water ,when using it ?
I was going to put in about a quarter mouthwash and three quarte water.

It's a great machine ,very powerful. Nice to get all the gunky saliva out aswell as cleaning the teeth.
