Has the pricing been released by anyone yet or when will it be?

Anyone have an idea on the costs for a pay as you go set up?

    Cheers

Prices have not been released yet, but it is believed that the models will follow similar pricing to the PAYG 3GS. (the 4G 8GB costs 419£ in the uk, direct unlocked from apple)

No need to start a new thread for your questions - a quick search and read would have done the trick

    Info found here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055971331&page=6

Nothing has yet to be confirmed/information released officially

Mate of mine works in O2 and just texted him, and he said he's heard around the €600 mark for them. Not confirmed, but thats what was being said by the staff in his O2 store

Been looking at the prices in all the other countries, and historically going we're always the same as the us price just the difference symbol :P

Which would make it 599. Thats on the apple store which for the 3gs 8gb is 30 euro more than 02 or vodafone. So im reckoning, 560/570 for payg. And on bill pay then anything from 50 up to 250 for the 16gb depending on price plan!

Only my nights detective work so guessing alot :P

Not always, that's mainly for iPods etc.. Check out the French Apple Store for what the prices will likely be here. All of this info is in another thread though..

There is no 8GB iPhone 4. That price is for the 8gb 3GS. Minimum order would be the 16gb, probably 600e with the 32gb being 700. Madmoney for a phone.

i think they will be more like the French prices tbh, 600 and 700 seem too low.

I actually think we'll be seeing them at €599 (16gb) and €699 (32gb), if the current evidence online is anything to go by (the 8gb 3gs).
I have a theory which is possibly a complete fabrication but given that Apple have their European HQ in Cork, I have a feeling the phones will be shipped from there, meaning that the "free" shipping they give for it is actually being factored into the pricing on the seperate countries Store pages. Hence why the 8gb 3gs is €40 dearer in Italy, €20 dearer in France etc...

Probably complete b0ll0x, but I dont see why if the new 3gs model is cheaper here (in line with UK price) than in those places, that the iPhone 4 will be the same? :pac:

Shipped from the Far East into Holland, customs cleared and delivered around Europe. Would make no sense to ship to Ireland to go on to the periphery of Europe. Price differences are down to different tax rates and I think France have an mp3 player tax. They did anyway.

Anyone think its going to be at least a few more weeks before the networks here start stocking iPhones? July 30th is a week away and still nothing from networks re dates or prices, just "coming soon".

To me, it just sounds like July 30th will be the date that the Apple Irish store will start selling sim free iPhone 4's.

I'm hoping the Irish store will follow the UK and French stores. All the signs are
pointing in that direction(sim-free iPhone 4),as in the layout for the 8G 3GS and the comming soon bit for the iPhone 4 on the Irish Apple store.
    If you look
at the layout on other stores that won't be selling it sim-free,their web pages
are different. Now this is just pure speculation on my behalf!!But I've been refreshing so many
different pages on many www sites in the last three months i.e. ebay, boards.ie,Apple stores and many, many more.My PC now thinks its an extra in the movie 'Groundhog Day':).
If Apple don't put up a pre-order option up soon I like many others am going to go into meltdown and all because of a bloody phone:eek:
Anyway if we are getting it sim-free I expect to pay around the 730 mark for the 32GB model.I'm a must have gadget freak all my life and usually pay over the odds to get things first,
but this time round I swore I'd not go crazy and give some money grabbing Joe Soap way too much for the phone on ebay!!!.......

But its hard:eek:I'm sure many of you are thinking the same way and have worn out the refresh option on your pc's:D.Sorry for the long post, but its still kinda on topic.

Yeah, seems to be the way for delivery, but the Tax thing doesn't work out. Look at the Italian Apple Store. The 8gb 3GS is €539, yet their VAT rate is 1% lower than ours at 20%.
So something else must be factoring in also?
