Some free Ryanair advertisment O'Leary :)

    ‘Wolfish’ Ryanair passenger arrested
Hungry 52-year-old Henrik Ulven (“ulv” means “wolf” in Norwegian) decided to skip the “standard” three Euro sandwich displayed on the in-flight menu in favour of the “freshly made premium sandwich” for another 1.50.
It was when he started to eat it after having paid for his beer that the trouble started.

“The sandwich looked different from the one on the menu and was as hard as rubber when I bit into it. I called the flight attendant, said I wanted to return it, and told her I didn’t want to pay for it,” he told VG.
Ulven alleged his suggestion of changing it for a chocolate muffin didn’t go down well, and was told he’d be reported to the authorities.

A disbelieving Ulven was arrested upon landing. He claims Ryanair overreacted. “I thought she was joking. The other passengers were asked to sit still while I had to be escorted by police into a room at the airport.”

Police officer Arild Kopperud confirms three men were sent to arrest the passenger, who the crew claim had given the cabin attendant a mouthful.
“We’ve had to detain passengers before, but this is the first time because of a sandwich,” he chuckled.

I like the totally irrelevant ramble :D

Ryanair, can't stand them anyway. Never fly with them ever.

He paid €4.50 for a sandwich. Deserves to be arrested.

Why the hell do some people buy food on short-haul ryanair flights anyway?
I mean..you can eat right before you get onto the aircraft in most airports, and straight after landing.

The body doesn't just decompose in an hour or couple of hours without food.

An MP3 player and noise cancelling earbuds are all that should be required for any Ryanair flight. You have nothing to complain about when you expect nothing bar a seat with a seatbelt!

Nothing wrong with buying food on the plane, it's not like the Airport food is much cheaper.

And the hot wraps on Aer Lingus are gorgeous, never ate on Ryanair.

Well if it was nothing like the picture then surely thats false advertising. He should sue em for false advertising and false arrest/slander/whatever fits

Presumably one can sue the police/Ryanair for false arrest in Norway?

Every instance of "Richard" should be replaced with "Joe".

jasus that's mad. I would have given the b!tch something to complain about after that for sure. You should have force fed her the sandwich, then throw her out the plane door. ps - you will need a rope, sellotape,

I was on a flight with my mother, she gave out about some cold "hot food" product she got, and I think she refused to pay for it.
She never got arrested, in fact, she got served a new meal.
    My Mammy's quite a scary lady. ;)

In all seriousness, unless he got volatile, I see no real reason for an arrest. Although we do know Michael O' Leary does adore the headlines, for whatever reason.
