Commuting from Swords to St. Stephens Green

Hi everyone,

just looking for some advice on the best way to travel from swords to stephens green, fingers crossed I will soon have a job around stephens green.
I know some buses do not operate on weekends, I also will have mornings were I have to start at 8am and evenings when I would not finish till 8pm.

If anyone can offer me any advice I would appreciate it, I am not familiar with swords as I will be moving up from the country.

The 41x links Swords with St Stephen's Green but is limited to peak hour only.

Your other alternatives are:
Regular Dublin Bus routes 33, 41 (via Airport), 41b, 41c (via River Valley) all to O'Connell Street and either walk from there or get another bus to Eden Quay

Dublin Bus route 43 to Marlborough Street (via the Malahide Road) and either walk or 2nd bus from O'Connell Street

Routes 10, 11/11a/11b, 14, 14a, 46a, 46b, and 145 all link O'Connell Street to St Stephen's Green.

Alternatively take the Swords Express coach service from Swords Village to Georges Quay/Eden Quay via the Port Tunnel and walk or take a Dublin Bus service to St Stephen's Green.

OP, if you value your sanity I'd go with the Swords Express option. It's not cheap, but there are discount ticketing options.

The non-41X Dublin Bus services simply take too long to make the trip. Admittedly, it's been a few years since I commuted using these routes, but it can take well over a hour to make the trip at peak times, if the bus routes through the airport. The Swords Express, in comparison takes about 30 minutes.
