Trying to find the link in todays Independent, where it has been declared haram (a sin) for Muslims to wear Man Utd and certain other soccer shirts as they contain a devil on their logo. Their nickname is the 'red devils'.

Is there any evidence that Satan, on the Man Utd shirts actually exists?

    Laughable really.

Note that this is not for all Muslims.

Absolutely hillarious, if I was a Muslim i'd be very very embarrased with this nonsense

The Catholic church officially still hires exorcists. Glass houses and all that.

I know a priest who does exorcisms. A few people I know with "ghost problems" got him in and he solved them. If it gives people piece of mind why not.

Good for them. My point is that silliness is in practically every religion and there are nutters in every walk of life. A bit mean to pinpoint this and say that Muslims should be embarrased or something.

P.S- Our old school chaplain used to conduct exorcisms. He used to tell us some gas stories!

I would not agree with exorcisms being silly.

For instance I am convinced that Aushwitz is haunted. When I was there I swore I felt a presence of some kind. Or maybe thats because I expected it. But if an exorcism can allay fears like them, particularily in homes, I do not feel it is silly.

Fundamentally having a belief in ghosts and poltergeists is silly. Its cool if you believe that though. I'm a pretty tolerant guy :D

    Well thats what you think.

But especially with regards to Auschwitz it is a very very horrible place, which is reflected by something more than just the fact that people died. I have been to lots of places were people died too.

I believe that the events which have taken place leave a mark on that area. Weather that is ghosts and stuff I don't know.

Thats good to know! Thought you were gonna reach through my screen and slap me! haha :D

The Vatican has issued a statement stating that any Catholic person wearing a Glasgow Rangers jersey will be excommunicated.
