need to get my fw1884 repaired, any recommendations?

    Hi All,

    My tascam fw 1884 mixing desk is broken. I put the firewire cable in upside down.(being the only cable connection in existence where this is possible) and blew the firewire card.

    So I'm looking for a repair dude who can source the said card and replace it for me.

    I live in Galway but will happily travel (by train) to anywhere in Ireland to get it serviced. I don't trust sending this baby by any type of courier.

    Tascam have their own repair shop in the UK.
