    Hi folks,

I'm going to build a few built-in wardrobes and a large bookcase - I'm looking for good suppliers for sheet materials, doors etc. Woodworkers in Terenure looks good, but the old adage "price around" springs to mind!

Do you guys know of any other suppliers with similar stuff to Woodworkers? I want to compare and get the best deal.

    Thanks,
    John.

Have u tried agetek in tullamore? They do all the vinal wrapped doors in different designs and all the standard sizes. They will even make custom sizes for an added cost. they supply melanine chipboard sheets also in many different wood grains! Delivery is nation wide with them also. I have used them many times over the years and their service is top class

Have dealt with Strahan for 18mm and 12mm pineboard in 8x4 sheets..... its excellent stuff and doesn't warp.

I'm hoping to build a wardrobe and would like to find out where to buy sliding doors or an alternative. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I would like to get the high gloss or mirrored finish but they are very expensive. Would nearly be as well off getting sliderobes in to do the job but my budget won't stretch that far

Collier kitchens sell sliding wardrobes systems.....there made to order...best to call up and have a chat...also need to plan how you make your carcass....i think the top and bottom shelves need to be 90mm bigger then the gables to take the track..
