Painting over gloss......advice needed

    Hi,

My friends husband decided to redocorate the bathroom while she was away for a week.

He painted it orange!! The ceiling, the walls, the fittings for the mirror. The only thing left untouched were the tiles.

Apart from the colour orange he used GLOSS paint.

Anyhow, would anybody know how this could be remedied???
They need to prepare the walls so that they can be painted with emulsion.

A local paint shop gave them undercoat - but as far as I can see this only prepares the walls to paint them in gloss paint.

Any advice would be most welcome........

PS He is in the dog-house...........:D

I don't see what the problem is; colour is good and it is an ideal room to have a lively colour in! And gloss is a good wipe-down surface for a Bathroom.
Anyway, a light sanding should score the surfaces enough to apply a new paint.
