I have been working on a powerpoint presentation on my MAC for a client in the states. I don't really use powerpoint in general. Anyway we are near completion and the client now tells me that when she prints it out - its all black. I have used photoshop files for backgrounds, images etc. in RGB. If anyone can help me with this problem I would be very grateful!

    Two questions:
What happens when you print it?
What filetype did you save the Photoshop files as? Powerpoint can be 'difficult' about the format images are saved in.

    Blank pages are more common!

    HI muggyog

    thanks for replying!

It prints out fine at my end - but isn't that always the case ha!

I saved the files in photoshop as JPEGS and made them RGB. I have since noticed one or two of the files are CMYK. Hopefully I will talk to the client later today and clarify which pages are printing and which ones won't.

I have sent her two test pages with backgrounds saved as:
    1. normal jpeg in photoshop (RGB)
    2. jpeg saved for web

Could you not just send it to them as a PDF?

I'm not sure. I don't know if the client is very technical - we were only supposed to set a style for the presentation - have ended up doing the whole thing!

I'll keep that in mind though - cheers!
