    Greetings,

I’m looking for a really good tinted moisturiser.

I have very pasty, blotchy skin and I wear foundation every day so I’m looking for something that will give me a fairly good coverage or at least even out my skin tone a good bit.

I’m going into Hospital in December to have my baby and obviously I won’t be spending time doing my makeup while I’m in there so I just want something to make me look a bit less washed out.

I know it’ll be the least of my worries but people will be up visiting and photos will be taken etc :o so I’d kind of like to still look as well as I can given the situation.

    Thanks :D

    Hey

I use Benefit's You Rebel in Lite and I also use Lancome's Hydra Zen Tinted Moisturizer. I find the lancome has a bit more coverage than a normal tinted moisturizer and I would wear it even when I am going out at the weekends. It comes in 3 different shades.

I think the You Rebel depends on your skin tone. My sister got it for Christmas and didn't like it at all. She gave me an almost full tube of it. I find it great tho. It has a yellow tone to it which seems to work really well with my skin tone.

If you're in Dublin maybe talk a walk into Debenhams or BTS and ask for a few samples or try them out on your skin.

I bet once you have your little baby you'll be glowing either way! Best of luck!

I've always been a fan on the no. 7 one.
Coverage is like a light foundation, the tone is slightly yellow (although they do two shades so the other could be different) but still subtle. It's perfect for evening out skin tone and blotchiness but it won't cover blemishes really. Not too expensive either, only about €14 I think!

Oh, congrats on the baby too :)

For a bit of coverage the dior one is very good.

I use an estee lauder one to 'colour' my skin. Its one with anti oxidants (there are a couple of tinted moisturisers) it goes on clear but tints the colour of your skin to a shade darker, just giving a nice i've been in the sun glow and its great as a moisturiser. I agree with popping into a department store and finding the right one for you. there are far less shades of tinted moisturiser than foundation out there so its difficult to find an exact shade match.

    Congrats on the new arrival!!!

Make sure you have a waterproof mascara too! ;)

i like the MAC one, think it comes in light medium and dark, its a bit more expensive though, cant remember how much but between €20 and €30

    Congrats on your baby :)

Go you! I'd say if I have a baby, I'll be wondering about stuff like that too. Wanna look nice for the photos! You might consider getting your eyelashes tinted too.

I'm also on the lookout for a good tinted moisturiser, however I want it for the beach for my holiday! One with decent coverage I think, but lighter than my Double Wear!

    GL with baby!

The No7 one isn't too bad - its less than €15, and has SPF 15.
The colour I find nice and I've actually gotten a few compliments about how my skin is looking recently.

Biotherm gives really good even coverage and does'nt look over the top the best thing to do is go to debenhams or boots and try a few tinted moisturisers and then u will know which one is better suited to your skin tone. Hope thats a bit of a help 2 u!!! Also if u can bring someone along with u because i never trust the girls behind the counter as they are there to sell products.

Is that the Daywear one?? That's lovely!!

Lots of people swear by the Clarins one, it is good, but the coverage is a little heavier than most tinted mositurisers.

Shiseido do a nice one too; or you could go for clinique almost make up which isn't a tinted mosituriser per se but gives a similar finish to your skin but there's no risk of clogging(some tinted moisturisers are terribly comodogenic even though they claim not to be); it lasts ages also, and their light shade is a great colour for us paler folk!!

Best of luck with the baby!!!
