    As a keen person that likes music, why is it that all the videos are captured on a 'green screen' ?

    Why not white ? Make more sense ...

    Yeah funny, I tried looking it up.

    It's the furthest away from the human skin tone etc..

    But I have seen people dressed in green and blue. Just makes no sense, and then the absolute + in the walls

    You'd have more in-depth answers on that if you scooted over to the film forum.

    Green is just easier to composite bacgrounds onto because of the low clashing with the actors / objects. Blue is used too but it's mostly green.

    The + symbols are used for tracking points, so if the camera is moving the background will move / scale fluider and appear more in line with the foreground (actors and all that) in the finished product.

    think there was an extra on the Matrix dvd which explained all.....
