prize draw rules in Ireland

Hi,

are there any rules for running prize draws in Ireland? I cannot find anything on the internet about it, any help would be great

If it's for a charity, you need to get a permit from the Garda station. For club/work things, I don't think you need anything.

If your thinking about running a prize draw in order to sell tickets to pay your mortgage and get rid of your house forget about it, it can't be done and won't work

first, a client wants to setup a prize draw website and he is unsure of the rules.

second... I have no mortgage, no house, no debts.. I wasn't going to go down the route the idiots took..
