    Hi all,

I'm finally on the home strech on my spell in Big 4 audit and am coming out of contract in April.

I've no interest in staying on primarily because I'm really looking for a change but am having abit of a mental block about what to do next.

Looking for some peoples feedback what they did post qualifiction
    - what kind of jobs did they apply for (and ultimately get)
    - details of any post qualifiction training they did

Also if anyone can share their experience about moving abroad using their qualifications that'd be sweet as well

    Cheers!

Edit - any with the various doom and gloom threads about experiences in Big 4 people this thread might be a good way of showing people that its ultimately worth it

If anybody lets people know can they say if they trained in FS or non-FS also!

Just out of contract since last April qualified ACA trained small practice and I am volunteering in Kenya for 3 months from September setting up an accounting system for a charity which I'm excited about. Not having Big4 on my CV I think is a big disadvantage for me in getting roles after that and hope the new position I take up will enhance my CV further. Big 4 will be an advantage for you and open many roles as most companies specify recently qualified accountant Big4 trained..
Caymans, FS banking roles in London etc should suit you. World is your oyster. I'm just hoping for a lucky break after November primarily accounts prep and tax are my areas I trained in and need to get some audit and hoping on doing post qualification diplomas etc to enhance my qualifications further.
