Veneers to close gap... put to sleep

A friend is terrified of the dentist but would love to close the gap in her teeth. Is there any way she could be put to sleep to have veneers done and if so, who offers this service and how much would it cost roughly?
    Thanks in advance

Nobody will put you to sleep for veneers. Maybe some sedation would be a possibility. Veneers can often be done without anaesthetic as only the from non-senstive enamel has to be removed. Best to go to a dentist who will talk her through it, take lots of time. In this way she can overcome her fears. Dental works is continious, once you have a filling of veneer of cown it will need replacing periodically (every decade of so), no point having to be knocked out every time.
