    Hi,

Just got these runners today. Has anyone ran in these before and if so what do they make of them?

    Thanks,

Used the nimbus a couple of years ago. Nice shoe for a neutral gait runner. Were they recommended to you for your gait type?

Yes, I went to Amphibian King in Bray and these were the runners they told me to get.

I am running my first Marathon in September so wanted to make sure I bought a good runner as I don't want to get Injured...

I ran 5km's on the treadmill tonight and they seemed fine.

You should be fine in them. I was worried you went out a bought a pair of expensive shoes because they looked nice!! The nimbus are fairly light with good cushioning so they'll fit the bill for your marathon training.

I'm on my second pair of Nimbus 11's. In between I changed to Mizuno Wave Creation on the advice of Runways - the original Nimbus were a little big and giving me blister problems - but they didn't feel right so went back to Nimbus.

They're a good shoe for a neutral gait runner, the shoes themselves are a little heavy but have plenty of cushioning. No problems with the current pair and plan on using them for DCM.
