    Heard this on Morning Ireland this morning. Here's an extract from the story on the RTÉ website:
    "The plan, which has been recommended to Dublin City Council by consultants RPS, involves taking water from the River Shannon at times of peak flow and flooding, and pumping it to a 500-acre reservoir to be built on a cutaway bog in Portarlington, Co Laois."
