I want to know how much Daniel Heffernan has made from dessid seeing as it's constantly up in the top grossing list.

What does it do exactly, and how does it work (like from a user point of view).

If obtaining access to a wireless network without authorisation is a criminal offence, is this what most people are using it for? (nevermind what the "noble" intentions of the developer were!)

ha i'm guessing the George Bush pic isn't your signature but in relation to the wink wink secure eircom my ar$e! does it only work on Eircom?

Do users of it find many "friends" out and about in which they can "help" secure their broadband using this app?

    ha

It only works for eircom as there wep keys are not random, they are generated using the SSID of the network (i.e) eircom445 3049 would equate to X

it is a handy app, but it's not revolutionary as I had a desktop version similar to dessid for years - in essence it's just a keygen
