The Tech4o really seems like value for money comapred against the Garmins
Just wondering has anyone purchased a Tech40 watch

    http://www.tech4o.eu/en/watches.php

I don't want anything fancy - just something that does the job better than the ALDI/Lidl thing I have
I relaly have no idea waht distances I'm running - just really going by previous 10k run times and working it from there

I would be weary of a pedometer based device that doesn't use a foot-pod (the foot-pod is probably the most accurate mechanism for measuring distance traveled). Then again, I have never heard of them before. Have you read positive reviews of these products suggesting that they work? What's the price difference like?

Personally, I wouldn't buy any pedometer-based device, but if I was going to, I wouldn't spend any more than €20 on it, as I reckon the more expensive versions may not be any more accurate than the cheaper versions. I'm not an expert though.

That's the thing - I only found them ny accident when I was checking on e-bay, looked at their website and can't find any recommendations --- the watch is about €110 cheaper than the Garmin 60 Bundle ... looks like I'm going to have to save

How much is the Garmin 60 bundle? If it's around €150, you'd be better off picking up a GPS-based watch, like the 305 (€161 delivered from Amazon - cheaper from ebay in the US (e.g.: €137 (risk of additional VAT)).
