Hello everyone!

I'm new to Boards, and I'm also new to gambling. I've never had a bet in my life, and I've decided to start for the new season.

I'll be starting off with a small bank, and I'll be using small stakes. I want to see how much profit I can make, just for the fun.

I'll be betting on football, mainly. I probably won't start betting until the season starts as I've heard friendlies and the like are unreliable.

I'm going to try and do everything properly - research, analysis, reasoning and everything.

here are some useful links that wil help you to back up your selections,dont ever blind bet btw, research is key.

What bookies would you guys recommend? Personally, I don't want to use Betfair, so I'm only looking for traditional bookies...

Wow! Thanks for compiling all those links for me. I already use The Footy Tipster and the Betting Advice forum, but I'll be sure to check out the other sites later.
