Has anyone doing repeats heard anything yet ?

    Hi all.
I missed one exam in January due to snow and have applied to repeat. I have sent off my money and form at the end of June but have heard nothing back yet. I also notice that the 60 euro check I sent off has not yet been taken from my account. Should I be worried?
I am just wondering if anyone else in a similar position (doing repeats) has heard anything.

The office is understaffed at the moment, due not to any fault of the college or the staff but to a series of unfortunate coincedences.

Email me at communications@nuimsu.com with your details and situation and and I'll see what I can find out for you.

You should name the new paper that, its easier than the cacophonous 'Robs Rag'!! just a suggestion..

Congrats on the website. Can't wait to see the pro one

Wasn't the repeat timetable supposed to be out this week? I heard the timetable people were snowed under with the amount of request from people ggoing on holiday/weddings/working etc and its making cheduling a nightmare.

It's not due out til at least next week afaik, it's been on the website since the other exams ended that it would be out end of July (next week) or early August.

@Berthram, I haven't heard anything either, I dropped mine into the office directly, but got no indication about it, other than that the timetable wouldn't be out til at least next week.

AGH! I wish they'd just tell us! Meant to be going away for a few days right in the middle of august and I'd like to be put out of my misery asap.

I'd say you've nothing to worry about at all. They can't put 3 on in the one day but they can put 2 on on the same day, one at 9.30 and one at 3.30, happened to me in January on the first day of exams, major bummer!

I emailed the office and they told me I had been registered for the repeats, so that's good to know at least :)

You know what I mean. Such a rare occasion that we actually get any clear information from anybody in the college/student's union, this is quite amazing.

On a side note, good luck to everybody doing repeats :D

    Stop making me feel guilty!!!

Anybody repeating languages know when the oral time tables are released or do we have to get in touch with the department ourselves?

Oh great......that room is not a healthy studying environment, in fact I don't think it's a healthy environment full stop!

Much prefer the library myself or the theatres in the arts block.

Aye. More of a theatre man myself...

For Spanish, the info is on the online noticeboards.

For other languages, I couldn't tell you but I would suspect they will provide the info soon. You could contact them just to be sure.

I thought they'd done away with the exam permits? Or is it different for the repeats?

Seems to be different. The online timetable functionality isn't working for these exams.
