I'm in Spain for the weekend, but this looks like a seriously cheap piss up.

    Wonder what it tastes like..

    Can be seen here

I can. first off it's a weissbier so if you drink erdinger or franzikaner you'll know what to expect. it tastes like these but less "creamy" if that makes sense. Anyway they're only 1.19 a can normally and i think it's a steal at that price so i'll probably pick up a crate on saturday.

Yep, delicious. I will be buying a crate of this stuff. Thanks OP.

Yummy.. I'm a "divil" for weissbier.

    Will be picking this up.

Super deal. Just to point out, you don't have to buy a 6 pack, they are 89c each, and also, they are not 5.2%, despite being advertised as this, think it's 4.9%

In the flyer it says they are 4.8 % and yeah 89c.

They were 69C last weekend, Picked up 2 crates, not a bad beer for that price.

no, that was the pils(good beer regardless of the price I think), this is the weissbier, much better IMO(if you like weissbier)

Great good to know, will pick few of them as well.

They're not bad, for that kind of price. As a poster above said, they taste like Erdinger or Paulaner. I had a two or three cans a while back and I found that that was my quota for that kind of drink - it gets a bit sickly and heavy with excessive indulging. But each to their own.

Bump.. changed title to reflect the offer.

And picked up these this morning in Lidl - wasn't greedy, only got 12! ;)

Agree 100%. Also gives me a bad hangover too. Still it does taste nice.

    same here
loved the taste of erdinger myself but i found after 5/6 bottles
i started to wobble really bad and got violently sick after having
too many of them a few years back and its the last time ive been
sick from beer (at least puking anyway)

what a bargain nonetheless for 500ml

There were a load of these in Lidl in Lucan, picked up 6 and they're lovely.
Nice smooth taste. I only had 2 of them, so I can't comment on hangovers.

Even if they increase the price back up to €1.19 or whatever it is, I'm going back for a load of them!

was only gonna get a few, but that massive trolley that lidl have made a slab look so small and measly so ended up getting 3.5 slabs, along with with 3 slabs of the pils from the offer last week, and a load of the perlenbacher(which I regret - pissy beer IMO)..sorted for a while now:D My room looks like a pub stockroom now, better get drinking/de-cluttering....
