Clean Fuel which offers more miles per gallon---ad by TOPAZ

    just wodering is there anything like that...more mileage with clean fuel. how come the quality of petrol in Topaz differ from other Petrol pumps...they all are refined from the same crude oil.


    I am confused to buy fuel from Topaz or from another petrol pump where fuel cheaper than Topaz by few cents.

    I think Shell did that before with some additives included in the fuel. Probably helps an engine in need of a clean internally but once clean it won't help any more. I used it for a while but i don't recall any improvement worth talking about.

    Do you mean Formula Shell in the 1980s? From memory, that actually damaged engines.

    No .. theres a Shell "Fuelsave" on sale.

    Load of bollocks really ... notice no difference between that and the normal stuff.

    Apparently you save 1 liter for every 50 liters:

    Its basically aditives from the fuel company, id reckon a minute increase in mpg happens!

    Texaco add techron. topaz add whatever theyre one is called, all the same pretty much!

    It was, and it was rated 95 octane in Ireland as well... however vPower in the UK now is rated as 97 or 98, not exactly sure.

    seems they(Topaz) are not mentioning about any additives...
