Card Making Classes / Courses

    Hi - would anyone know of any card making classes in the Dublin area or weekend courses around the country as would travel at weekends. I have found a new love for card making and would like to bring it to a new level.

    If you check Irishcraftupdate.com, they have info on classes and events all over the country. They're currently listing a cardmaking day in Kilcoole next weekend.

    There is a lady in county laois who gives craft workshops weekends and during the week, she is amazing , Card making , Scrap-booking , I have attended her hand made paper making course and loved it. Jackie Mitchell (Country Crafts)
    I am not sure if it is a good idea to put her phone number up on here, I will gladly pass it on to you if you like .

    Thanks all - that day in Kilcoole has been cancelled but thank you anyhow Treasure Bin.

    Irish star could you please pm me those contact details.

    I also came across a shop in spidal that seem to do allot of activity if anyones interest. Weekend of 6th,7th & 8th they have a full packed weekend of crats www.ansiopabui.ie I am going to head down on the Sunday to check it out.

    Have also been advised about the "Great Big Craft Extravaganza" that takes place in Athlone 24th, 25 and 26th of September. Looks to be another date for the diary!! :)

    I help organise a craft fair in Carlingford Co Louth
    I also make cards and have done so for about 15 years
    if you want to call to our craft I stock a range of supplies and would be very happy to show you some tips and "how to's" ask all the questions you want i know when i started people would not tell you anything they were afraid you would be better than them Silly!!!!!!!

    I think the Pine forest used to offer crafty courses and it's in a beautiful location.
