    ok guys, what is threadlock? I want to put some on to stop a bolt unscrewing...can you use superglue or do you have to buy threadlock and why?

    so yea loctite wiil do the job can be bought in most shops

    Thread lock is a type of glue but if you put it on a screw/nut you could have problems opening the screw in the future.

    thread lock is not as strong as say super glue, you can add it to the thread or you can apply it over the top of the screw/bolt as you will sometimes find in stock gearbox ( its the blue/red stuff people see ) stops vibrations undoing the screws and bolt on the aeg, which is all to easy on an aeg

    just don;t use to much you only need a very small amount on threads
