it should be simple - connect the iphone to the puter with itunes on it, then sync the movies.....

You just need to go through the movies tab in your iPhone on the left hand side of iTunes. It won't automatically sync your movies because most people wouldn't want their entire movie collection on their iPod or iPhone, there'd be no room left for anything else on my 8gb with a 2gb transformers movie!

Wow! what a thoughtful and insightful answer.

You do understand the idea behind forums like this don't you? Let me spell it out for you, just in case you weren't in school that day.
Somebody ( in this case, me) comes to the forum with a question about something they don't understand ( in this case a question about my iphone and transfering video )
Then somebody else, usually helpful ( in this case, not you ) comes along and answers the question as best they can.

    It ain't rocket science.

If you enable Movie syncing it should transfer easily enough. But if the movie is not of a resultion compatible with your idevice then itunes will re-encode it to make it compatible. That process can take a while.

When you connect in iTunes, click your idevice name and then select the Movies Tab. From there you will have the option to sync movies and then to choose 'all movies', or selected movies etc. It's not hard after that.

I thought it would be something like this, but just couldn't see it last night.
Thanks I'll check it out tonight.

You know, to be fair, it's all in the manual. Such a basic question might offend some people.

To be fair me arse. I enjoy coming on boards and asking questions and having them answered. Your right i could have looked in the manual but funnily enough i was on my laptop, and that at the time was more convenient.
And what type of person gets offended at a question about an iphone?
A much less stressfull way to deal with it for anybody with delicate dispostions would be to ignore the awful question.

I've had enough of this. I got what i was looking for, and a thank you to those that answered in the usual Boards manner i.e promptly and helpfully.

And to the sensitive ones out there a big fat :P to you guy's.

I understand completely thanks. The menstrual cramps must be bad with you if you get that bent out of shape at that. Someone did answer it, and you didn't seem happy with the answer. Still a couple of Nurofen should sort it out.:D
