    Have put reminder on phone to drive past work and just head straight to lidl - and back the car up to the door and load em up...

    What you guys need to be asking yourself is why oh why would you bother buying budweiser for a euro, when for a few cents extra you could be drinking 500ml of PREMIUM Czech beer Staroslav for 1.09, (Aldi) or pick up 6 x 500ml bottles of Perlnbacher for 6.29 in Lidl, or 6 x 500ml of Frankfurter same price in Aldi.

    Staroslav is 5%
    frankfurter and Perlenbacher both 4.9%


    You'll look at bud in a very different light once you start drinking a DECENT beer!

    Amsterdam Mariner is alot better imo, €1 a can in O'Briens afaik

    Been to lidl and sure enough - Budweiser is €1 a can today. Took away a slab with me.

    Would have taken 2nd slab but thought best not as I still have a load of cheap bottles I got in NI a few weeks back.

    Indeed. Grafanwalder was on sale there last sat @69c a can, far superior to Bud. The graf weiss is on sale this sat, 89c, much better deal.

    Still a good bargain alert, as it's normally about twice that price..although it's still buying more into a brand than a decent beer.

    Searched a few different stores yesterday and not one of them actually had any bud in it. Maybe it was just all sold out.. :mad:
