ladies fashion at the races

    hi all, brand new to the site and here's my first query-
    Does anyone else out there HATE the style at the races?
    I am a very fashion conscious girl in my late twenties and I hate the look. For me it's the definition of mutton dressed as lamb, am I the only who feels this way??
    Mna na hEireann seem thrilled at the thought of being wags for the day while I'd rather stick pins in my eyes.....:eek:

    I think thats a bit of a generalisation there. Some girls do go a bit OTT & dont eaxctly dress for the races but I still think you see a lot of style at the races.

    People will always wear what they want. I would not particularly let it bother me personally.
