Ping Drivers Fade Bias

I recently bought a Ping Rapture V2 driver which I simply could not hit. It had a Mitsubishi Diamana Stiff shaft & every shot just flew off to the right.

I changed for a V2 with a Ping shaft, not stiff but not as stiff as the Diamana. Same story. Everything pushed right. (not sliced)

I started to read a bit about Ping drivers & I've discovered that many of the newer models (i15, Rapture etc.) have an in built "fade bias". See article below.

For a golfer with a tendency to fade the ball, this can be disastrous. (I can vouch for it!!!)

Anyone aware of a driver with a slight "Draw Bias"???

Ping i15 is a "players" driver and has is listed as having a slightly open face. The Rapture V2 is not a fade biased club, now some of them will be slightly open and others slightly closed, it is possible that your two were slightly fade biased in that they were slightly open, but its equally possible that you could have ended up with a square club face or a closed club face one. If may also be that your setting up with you club slightly open at address and hence the push right or slice/fade right.

As for a draw biased club, the R7 draw from taylormade, the R9 from taylormade, the Nike Victory Red and the Cobra S9-2 can all be set to draw bias.
