I have to put the E36 through the NCT in the morning. There is one problem I know of, the ABS Sensor on the rear left is acting up and intermittantly is activating the ABS / ASC light on the dash.

I know that any safety warning lights is a fail, but my question is, is it a full re-test or just a visual inspection afterwards?

I don't really want to go and replace the sensor and then find I have to do some more work based on what Mr. NCT says needs doing.

It's only a visual re test.

Provided it's the only fail that is ;)

As Gabbo said ,they don't need to use equipment for this so theres no charge.

Nope just the a/b or abs light.

well the light is hasn't come on for the last two days .. fingers crossed it decides to stay off later on !!!

I know it's only a dirty sensor (well I hope I know) but it's a total bitch to get out and this weather and the lack of a covered working area hasn't helped !
