    Hey guys in forst serious relationship and wondering do we expext the boys to pick up do the driving always if goin somewhere.. omly goin out few months.. but feel bad sometimes..
    am i being silly..

    Hi OP,

    I don't think it matters who drives tbh. I don't think it's fair to let him drive you all the time though. Petrol costs a good bit of money and if you are going out somewhere that you will be drinking, it's nice to switch and let the other person be the passenger and have a few drinks.

    Maybe next time you are going somewhere, say you'll drive. See how it goes. IME most couples share the driving and paying for dates and the general responsibilities within a relationship.

    Hey OP, its a shared thing. Most expenses between you should be shared. And if you want to drive, tell him. he might be happy for a break.
    Or, he might like driving, i usually drive when me and the OH go somewhere because i like driving and she doesnt, works out well.

    Just talk to him about it, thats a general piece of advice on being in a serious relationship, talk to eachother, its hugely important! :)
