hey, over the last while on my 2003 diesel passat ive noticed a clunking noise coming from the steering from time to time, you can feel it in the steering sumtimes too, was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to what it might be, also, ive noticed my indicator stick still makes a clicking noise as if it is still still…

hey, over the last while on my 2003 diesel passat ive noticed a clunking noise coming from the steering from time to time, you can feel it in the steering sumtimes too, was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to what it might be, also, ive noticed my indicator stick still makes a clicking noise as if it is still still indicating but not actually doing so, from what i hear, i heard the stick itself needs replacing due to worn out copper contacts, anyone know if its expensive? cheers
