Noob questions: Putty.

I need to get some sort of modelling putty to fill up a few gaps but 1) I'm not sure if there are specific types, or if there's a one size fits all type of modelling putty? 2) Is any such putty available from any shops in Dublin, or is it another one of those 'buy it on the Internet' things? Art and Hobby shop would be a good bet. Ask them about it as well, they are usually pretty good.

I used to use greenstuff, it's a 2 part epoxy putty, Milliput gets good reviews as well.

For "soft" work that I will want to sand smooth later I use Polyfilla.

For hard work that must be very durable and permanent I fill with two part epoxy glue thickened with a little thixotropiermittel (lightweight) or talc (less lightweight) mixed in as I stir the resin and hardener together.
