Laser Card In Czech Republic

    I am going to Prague next week for a month and need some advice. I have a laser card from BOI which I will be using to withdraw cash etc. I need to know if there are bank charges per transaction and if so could someone plz tell me how much?

    Maestro (Point-of-Sale) transactions - there is a 1.75% transaction charge with a minimum of €0.46 and a maximum of €11.43 per transaction
    yep - it's quite expensive in terms of charges to use your Laser card in an ATM in a non-euro zone. However you get quite good rates.

    Using your Credit Card, assuming your account is in credit, incurs no apparent charges, but these are actually built into the rate so sometimes you end up paying more.

    It's better value to use your card in shops and restaurants to make purchases rather than taking cash out at the ATM.
