UPC €5 per each additional set top box

    Iv posted this in the cable and digital forum too but i think people should be made aware of this here as well as it will save them money....

    UPC are now charging €5 inc VAT for each additional set top box you have, but if like me you are already a customer supposedly it doesn't apply as its for new customers only.

    This is so wrong, loyalty doesnt mean anything huh...Pretty ****ty i think, it should be done automatically to any pre-existing account

    SO i rang them to challenge them on this expecting a big fight but to my amazement they just said ok and reduced my charges from €8.49 per extra box to €5 per extra box....€3.49 saving per box.

    Not bad i think, my mother done this too with no hassle....

    Isnt €5 the normal price for the extra 'standard' box, and then its €10 for the + or HD box

    i got my 3rd box in about a year and a half ago and was being charged €8.49 for it up to my last bill anyways, dnt know when the €5 came in tho.......
