20 compulsory driving lessons?

    Amazed this hasn't already been posted. It's all over the radio today:

    It's looks like this is definitely on the cards. Supposed to be in place by the end of the summer, but I'd be amazed if it went ahead before 2011. I know most learner's won't be pleased at the prospect of a minimum of 20 lessons (esp bearing in mind that ADIs could well hike prices to take advantage of the increased demand).

    Still, this has the potential to be a really significant step forward for driver education.
