Mullaghanish using SKY feed?

A pal at work swears that he saw the SKY information picture broadcast on the Mullaghanish signal some time ago. Are RTE using a SKY feed sometines if there is a fault with the microwave relay.It would seem to make sense.

The Skyboxes are pretty useless as backup for DTT. Saorsat is as much a DTT feed/backup as "fill-in" for the 2% to 8% (or whatever) that can't get DTT.

See here for detail as why Saorsat is much better (and really Sky boxes not viable) as backup (or even main feed for isolated small ssites) for DTT.
