First Ipod Nano

This is my first ipod nano - my first mp3/4 player in fact - and I'm having difficulty with the radio. Might I seek some advice?

I live north of the border and can easily pick up Radio Ulster and a number of other British radio stations on the ipod nano, however, I've tried to tune into RTE radio 1 and 2fm and also tried to scan them in but with no luck, I can't find them anywhere. I used Frequency Finder as my guide.

The wave band seems to run from 87.5 to 108.0 Can any of our northern readers advise me if they can pick up RTE radio and if so where. I do appreciate that radios like these might not have a really strong pick up, but I would like to be able to listen to RTE radio

As I said first ipod just arrived this afternoon and I'm still getting used to working it. Any other ipod advice welcomed.
