Velcro fastening Golf shoes

hi all,
not sure if this is the right place to start this thread, but im looking to get the father a pair of Velcro fastening golf shoes/runners... the cheapest that i can find are the Hi Tech Valhalla pair at approx 50euro... can anyone recomend where i might pick up a pair not as expensive? dont care what brand they are to be honest...

tbh they're fairly rare so unless you pick a pair up on e-bay you won't get a pair for cheaper

The only problem is the postage brings them up to nearly €50....:(....
so unless you know someone that can take delivery of them in the UK and bring them home for free your best bet is to buy them locally!

Velcro shoes doesnt seem like a good idea to me...would you not be concerned with the grass getting stuck in the hooks?

first off Daithio9, if your gonna have a personal comment to make send me a pm and we can continue the discussion further otherwise your just making a tit of yourself... but by all means if you see yourself fit to talk to me about how much i like my father do pm me.

The rest of the posters, thanks for the very much for the comments, but its key that the shoes have the velcro straps as the problem with his other shoes is the tieing of the laces... im only sussing out whats around as i dont have a notion myself and 50euro is the best price online i can find for a pair, so anywhere in dublin i could check out would be well appreciated
