Anyone know of anyone in Ireland who sells them or know of anyone who has one, I think it may be usefull in the winter months while working on a few things

The frame wouldn't be that difficult I'd say. Go to a steel supplier and get galvanised tube and you can get galvanised tube clamps to take care of the various junctions so no welding required... just cutting the bars to length and the clamps are tightened with an allen key I think.
Looking at the pictures you could at least coest the frame based on the measuremants and see if it would be worth the trouble. The netting would need to be good and then a quality mat too I suppose?

I'd see if a scaffolding company has any stuff that is not longer safe for them to use, modern scaffolding is all just bars and clamps, the netting is actually quite expensive as you really want nylon to survive the weather here.

I use one of those cheapy plastic grass door mats for swinging on at home, it will wear out but they are cheap and cheerful.

slightly off topic - but would anyone know where you could get a good practice mat.. something like the fiberbuilt mats from http://www.rangeball.co.uk/ for a half decent price?? not looking to pay €500!
    thanks

Argos ones are terrible. I got the dear one and within a week had punched a load of holes in it - thankfully I live out the country!!

Remember you'll need a mat as well, I've part of my garden well ploughed up from using the net.

Very bad idea to practice in one of these things. You have no way of ever knowing what shape your shot took. You might think you have hit it well but you've got no idea where it would have gone. You could develop very bad habits, unknown to yourself.
These nets should only be used to warm up and loosen out before a round begins and not used for working on your swing

While i do agree with you, i do think that a golf net out the back of your house is great for your game. Not everybody can make it out to the golf course or a driving range whenever they want.
Ive one out the back and while i may not know the shape of each shot i do get to work on my ball striking, which is very important.
