LIDL silvercrest radio in '97 Opel Corsa?

    Hey guys

I noticed recently that Lidl were carrying a silvercrest car radio as one of their weekly specials. I'm thinking about replacing the stock radio in my '97 Opel Corsa with the silvercrest radio and was wondering if anyone has any experience with this? Things like if the connections currently in the car are suitable for the radio? Are there any other gotcha-s to look out for?

    Any advice is appreciated

    Cheers

If the Corsa has a standard DIN socket, then the lidl unit will connect directly, otherwise you'll need an adapter. those Lidl units are grand for what they are, I was going to get one for the van this morning when I realised I'd lost my wallet...

As said if it's got a DIN slot which i presume it does then there shouldn't be a problem. You may need to swap a cable or two around. I bought one of the aldi radios last year and installed it only to realise that the continuous live and ignition live cables needed to be swaped. I bought an adapter for a fiver in halfords. 20 minute job to install the whole thing.
