Paul Rudd has a pretty high hit rate so could be good.

Also has Jermaine Clement and Ron Livingston in the credits which should be a good omen.

Like everyone involved but something about the trailer doesn't click with me.

So it's essentially Steve Carrell as Mr Bean?

    .. PASS!

It looks like a bit of harmless fun. Come on Basquille, admit you laughed at the reconstuction of the last supper! :D

The "mouse-terpieces" quip was funny.. but can't say I laughed at anything else.

This is being really heavily advertized over here in Canada (and I guess the US also) That trailer isn't good at all, this is two of the ones that are currently on during the ad breaks.

I actually think it looks hilarious. Plus Paul Rudd and Zach Gali..Gali...Galimimus ;) are my 2 favorite comedians atm.

    Has anyone seen the original?

^ I have. It's really great. Would definitely recommend it to anybody. Remake doesn't look up to much to be honest.

It's hilarious, I can highly recommend it. Jacques Villeret is a comic genius.

You can get it for a fiver on Amazon and what's great about it (as I mentioned on a recent thread on subtitled films) is how well the subtitles reflected the comedy of the film, not just literally what they were saying. There's a lot of wordplay which they tried to ensure would make sense (and still be funny) in English.

What I mean is, they didn't just translate the language, they translated the humour too.

Took me AGES to get this right.

    Phonetically it's 'Gal-ih-fin-ah-kiss'.

This looks like a contender for the worst movie ever made with the worst actor ever born: Steve Carell.

Why don't you get personal about this and tell us what you really think :P

I usually don't pay much heed to this type of film but I have to say this looks sort of interesting.

Was that Jemaine Clement from Flight of the Conchords fame?

Seems like a decent enough cast for a comedy. Love Paul Rudd and Zach Galifniiiiiiiaeh....him, and Steve Carrell sometimes gets it right, so it could be a fairly enjoyable "leave your brain at the door" film.
