    Hi,

I’ve just been offered to take the CMGA route to get my CIMA qualification, but until know I have never even heard of it. Is anyone familiar with this entry method?
Seen as I've never sat a CIMA exam, I'm trying to figure out if I’m crazy even considering it.

Any advise at all would be welcome!

Undoubtedly CIMA's (ACMA) will know what this route entails, if, however, you don't get a response you might detail what CMGA entails (if you know) to get a more general response.

CMGA is an entry route for people with MBAs.

You would sit one exam at the management level to test your knowledge.

If you pass that you only have four exams to sit. (3 + 1)

If your MBA was big on case studies I'd say it would help you greatly in the final exam - one big case study.

This is a relatively new entry route afaik so there won't be much experience of it.

(CIMA have their own forum which might have more info)

Thanks- It's a great way to fast track through CIMA but my main concern is the difficulty level and the lack of info out there.

There are sample questions linked to from the page I linked to above or you could look at some past exams for the regular papers at that level.
