Every post you have made on this site so far has concerned the Victory Centre. Do you have any association with the Victory Centre? If you are coming on to advertise, be up front about it.

Interesting article indeed. I'm not sure about the emergence of megachurch like situations. I think churches on a smaller scale (max 400) are much more effective for spreading the Gospel, encouraging one to one relationships and small groups to make people really feel as if they belong. This would be my one concern about Victory, it seems far too large.

I would also make the same concern about Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle in Belfast. I was there at a Hillsong United concert in June, and the venue isn't even actually that appealing, at least from my perspective.

I was at the opening of the Victory Centre. Honestly wouldn't recommend it.
It's massive, well-equipped and all-that but it kinda feels more like a social club then church.

Just in case anyone is confused - I've merged whitelightning's thread with plowman's.

Until very recently there was very little about the theological position of the Victory Fellowship on their website. Furthermore, most of the YouTube videos which they have produced are very focused on their building and their facilities rather than their mission. This is something which concerns me.

There has been some discussion about this on the Atheist forum - perhaps thats sufficient - but it does serve as a warning to all on Prosperity Theology..
