whats the best phone to buy for under 300 euro? plus unlocking it

    Iv been looking at getting the HTC wildfire but im not sure if I am going to be able to unlock it to pre-pay meteor. also looking at the iphone.

    At the risk of stating something you already know, apparently the Wildfire isn't a 'small desire' several features have been cut back.

    The Wildfire is around the 300 mark unlocked give or take a tenner adverts.ie is pretty good for picking something up !

    Just buy one that is already unlocked.

    In another thread about the Wave, someone said the Wave they bought from Vodafone was SIM free. :-)

    Just repeating what someone else said so you might want to try your Meteor SIM in one before buying.

    Pixmania appear to have it SIM free for €328
